Job DescriptionThe Costing Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting product and manufacturing costs to support operational and financial decision-making. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard costs for finished goods, semi-finished goods, and raw materials.
- Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs), labor routings, and manufacturing overhead allocations.
- Review and validate product cost structures and ensure costing accuracy within ERP system.
- Monitor and analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Investigate manufacturing variances
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and cost accounting.
- Reconcile inventory balances and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with inventory valuation, reserves, and cycle count analysis.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or other reporting tools.
- 2 years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets preferred.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
