Job Description Summary
As a Title Post Closing Auditor working for Inspired Title Services, Taylor Morrison’s title company, you will be responsible for all post-closing functions, including auditing the file to ensure all requirements have been met/satisfied, appropriate documentation has been obtained and is documented in the file, and for the preparation of final policies in accordance with final markup and pro forma, and delivery of same to the appropriate parties to the transaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge and ability to perform escrow assistant and basic escrow officer duties
- Review, verify, organize and audit closed title files to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
- Communicate with appropriate parties to resolve questions and concerns regarding title file
- Review and verify documents relative to all curative matters, including satisfactions and releases
- Review/ verify names on contract, buyer identification, vesting, completion of notary acknowledgements, legal descriptions, and lien information, and record documents via Simplifile
- Review Simplifile recording fees collected are accurate versus amount collected
- Disburse file
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of High School Diploma (Bachelor’s or Associate's degree a plus); or three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be of high integrity, technical competence and high moral character
- Strong communications skills – written, verbal, and listening.
- Highly proficient level of computer skills in title production and closing software (e.g. SoftPro, Ramquest, ResWare) including spreadsheet, word processing, and power point.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Will have responsibilities such as:
- This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

- Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
- Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
- Comply with company policies and procedure
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
