Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program!

AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the IS Document Composition Team for a 10-week internship.  Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the IS Document Composition Team.

About the Roadways College Internship Program:

Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:

• Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives
• Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image
• Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change
• Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust

What You’ll Do

• Participate in the development of automated processes that deliver Insurance and Membership bills, letters and policy documents to our customers.
• You will work with a team of developers to devise efficient and reliable solutions to accomplish the foregoing.  
• You will work on a agile team to collaborate with business unit representatives to understand the business requirements.
• You will  be a part of a continuous learning team to enhance and improve the deployed solutions as business needs evolve. 

What You’ll Need

• Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in computer science, engineering, mathematics or any analytical.
• A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and cross-functionally
• Light to medium complexity software development in JAVA and Python.
• Query development in MS SQL
• Java Script development.

Internship Eligibility:

• Must commit to the entirety of the program; June 9th  through August 15th
• Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week
• Must be willing to commute to the office daily

Starting pay for this internship is $27.00 per hour.
