About the RoleWith 9 automotive brands across 13 rooftops, our centralized accounting team operates from our Volkswagen store on Broadway Avenue in Littleton, providing consistent financial oversight and operational support to every dealership in the group.
The Title Assistant supports the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles by ensuring title documents are organized, tracked, and completed in compliance with dealership and state requirements. This role is responsible for assigning and filing incoming titles, processing dealer and duplicate title applications, monitoring outstanding titles with financial institutions, and maintaining organized records to help ensure vehicles are titled efficiently and accurately.
Experience & Qualifications Needed:- High school diploma is required
- College experience in accounting is highly desirable
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Assign incoming in-state and out-of-state titles to the appropriate store.
- Apply for dealer titles.
- Log and file incoming titles in the appropriate location or with the corresponding deal jacket.
- Ensure all incoming titles comply with applicable title regulations and documentation requirements.
- Open, sort, and log all incoming mail.
- Mail title work to the appropriate recipient.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
