Job Description
- Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems, or malfunctions of all systems applications, hardware and software, installed and maintained by the company.
- Participate in telephone support rotation providing support to users in offices across the US via remote assistance tools.
- Assist in user account administration, including onboarding/offboarding and access control.
- Document problems and solutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and assist in lifecycle management.
- Contribute to knowledge base development for recurring issues and support documentation.
- Inform management of potential problems and identifies problem trends.
- Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers etc.
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade computer hardware and software.
- Provide videoconference administration and support as needed.
- Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or specialized teams as needed.
- Any other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 2+ years of experience in corporate IT or Service Desk role.
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS environments.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- O365 Administration experience.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MTA/MCSA, etc.).
- Experience supporting mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, etc.
