The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull, for which the team is named. Purpose of this Job
The Ticket Sales Account Executive (Groups) is directly responsible for generating group sales revenue on a year-round basis. This role will be accountable for a dynamic and proactive approach to group sales including outbound calls and face-to-face meetings. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to prospect and build a book of business in the local area consisting of businesses, youth soccer clubs, nonprofits, and other organizations.
Job Description
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly group ticket and revenue targets
- Develop relationships, set face-to-face meetings (both externally and at Sports Illustrated Stadium) and present group ticket options to potential customers with the objective to close new and renewal group sales business
- Assist in creation of new group initiatives and events that increase sales opportunities and overall group tickets/revenue
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of ticket sales experience preferably in the sports industry
- Track record of hitting sales goals is highly recommended
- Committed to success and the sports industry with a desire to aggressively compete within a team environment
