Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
Support the Human Capital Management team
Salary up to: $55,000 based on education and experience
Responsibilities
Conduct surveys on needs and interest of state employee population regarding health and wellness.
Develop new programming to offer state employees that promotes health and wellness based on needs and interest of the State of Oklahoma employees. This encompasses planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programming.
Manage daily activities of Thrive including developing newsletter content, podcasts, and social media content.
Develop, coordinate, and promote recreation leagues and programs.
Manage the Volunteer Payroll Deduction (VPD) program.
Coordinate and promote the annual Volunteer Payroll Deduction (VPD) health expo.
Partner with individual agencies to provide consultations and presentations regarding health and wellness.
Promote Thrive programs through attendance at statewide and regional health expos.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday but will also require time spent outside exposed to the elements.
The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
Occasional travel will be required.
Work in the evenings and occasional weekend
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
2 years of Health Promotion/Wellness experience including creating, developing and delivering health education materials preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
A Masters’ degree in a related field
A Wellness Certification (CHES, CWWS, CWWPM, CCWS, or CWPC)
