The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.
We are seeking a Tactical Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst to support real-time digital threat monitoring and alert triage. This role operates at the front line of cybersecurity, focused on identifying, analyzing, and escalating threats that may impact the organization.

- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role:
- Improves speed and accuracy of threat detection and triage
- Enables earlier identification of potential incidents impacting DTCC
- Reduces noise through effective alert validation and prioritization
- Strengthens integration between CTI and cyber defense teams, driving more actionable intelligence at the operational level
- Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 triage of threat intelligence alerts from internal and external sources
- Monitor threat feeds, intelligence platforms, and alerting systems for emerging threats relevant to the organization
- Conduct initial investigations into suspicious activity and potential threats
- Enrich and validate indicators (e.g., IPs, domains, file hashes, email artifacts) to assess relevance and risk
- Identify and escalate credible threats or potential incidents to Cyber Monitoring and Incident Response teams
- Track ongoing cyber events and assess potential impact to the organization
- Document findings and provide clear, actionable summaries to support downstream response actions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, or related field
- Familiarity with alert triage, threat monitoring, or security analysis workflows
- Understanding of common cyber threats (phishing, malware, credential theft, external reconnaissance)
- Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, TIPs)
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to prioritize in high-volume environments
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Exposure to threat frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience supporting cyber monitoring or incident response teams
- Interest in financial sector cybersecurity or threat landscape
