Threat Intelligence Analyst - SmartHunt
We have an opportunity for a Threat Intelligence Analyst – SmartHunt join the Infoblox Exposure Management team in India, supporting Axur SmartHunt services across EMEA. Reporting to the SmartHunt team leadership, you will help configure, tune, and maintain the Axur platform so customers receive accurate threat detection, efficient ticket handling, and timely guidance. In this role, you will work across brand protection, online piracy, data leakage, Deep & Dark Web monitoring, and executive and VIP protection. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to improve detection quality, automate workflows, investigate gaps, and deliver measurable service outcomes.
Be a Contributor - What You’ll do
- Configure, tune, and maintain Axur SmartHunt platform settings based on customer requirements and established playbooks
- Create, tune, and maintain collections, search bots, keyword libraries, brand assets, filtering rules, and safelists
- Manage ticket automations, validate triage criteria against platform attributes, and monitor service-level performance
- Analyze tickets that were not automatically triaged and route issues to the appropriate product or internal team when necessary
- Investigate customer-reported detection gaps through threat hunting, filtering-rule analysis, and search-bot review
- Review manually created customer cases to identify the causes of non-detection and recommend corrective actions
- Perform proactive configuration-health reviews and reduce false positives and operational noise
- Maintain accurate records of platform changes, investigations, customer requests, and follow-up actions
- Provide customer guidance and education on platform configuration, detection results, automations, and best practices
- Prepare reports summarizing completed actions, service KPIs, configuration health, automation performance, and detection-rate trends
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, Threat Intelligence, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the SmartHunt service
- Leverage AI-enabled workflows to research customer environments and threat activity, prepare customer meetings, summarize cases and discussions, support customer communications, identify detection or service opportunities, and complete follow-up actions, while validating outputs for accuracy and relevance before use
- Apply AI tools to improve detection tuning, threat hunting, automation management, response quality, customer engagement, and operational efficiency across onboarding, maintenance reviews, configuration-health activities, ticket triage, detection-rate analysis, and customer-requested investigations
- Share AI-driven best practices with SmartHunt, Customer Success, Product, Threat Intelligence, and other cross-functional teams to improve customer experience, strengthen detection outcomes, increase analyst productivity, and support scalable execution across the customer lifecycle
Be Prepared - What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC operations, digital risk protection, fraud and abuse, trust and safety, or a related field
- Practical understanding of phishing, brand impersonation, online piracy, data leakage, credential exposure, and open, deep, or dark web monitoring
- Experience with alert or ticket triage, investigation workflows, detection tuning, automation, or case-management platforms
- Ability to analyze patterns, identify detection gaps, reduce false positives, and translate findings into practical configuration changes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to customers and non-technical stakeholders

Be Successful - Your Path
First 90 Days: Immerse yourself in Infoblox, Exposure Management, and SmartHunt by completing training on the Axur platform, customer workflows, configuration standards, and core playbooks. Shadow experienced analysts across configuration reviews, automation management, detection-rate analysis, and customer support while building relationships with SmartHunt, Customer Success, Product and Threat Intelligence stakeholders.
Six Months: Independently manage assigned configuration-health reviews, automation activities, and detection-rate investigations while maintaining high-quality ticket analysis, threat hunting, platform tuning, and customer communications. Identify and implement opportunities to improve detection coverage, reduce false positives, and increase automation effectiveness.
One Year: Serve as a trusted Threat Intelligence Analyst - SmartHunt for assigned customers and internal stakeholders while contributing to playbook improvements, knowledge sharing, and service-quality initiatives. Demonstrate measurable improvements in configuration health, automation performance, detection coverage, and customer outcomes.
