Job Description

This is a two-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position, subject to business needs and performance.

As the Third Party Risk Management Liaison, you will support allocated business areas in overseeing their TPRM risk and act as a liaison to coordinate these activities. This role includes being hands on and actively overseeing the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of comprehensive Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities including risk assessments, due diligence, performance management, exit management and more.

In this role, you will support the Third Party Risk Leadership by working with allocated areas as a liaison to oversee critical services and work with Relationship Owners and third party providers directly to ensure the completion of TPRM activities.

As the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization from potential risks associated with allocated third party engagements. This comprehensive role involves actively supporting designated business areas in the meticulous oversight of their TPRM risks and serving as a crucial liaison to seamlessly coordinate all related activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in the hands-on, ongoing maintenance and strategic enhancement of our robust TPRM framework.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of critical TPRM activities, including but not limited to:

  • Risk Assessments: Conducting thorough and proactive risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks posed by third-party relationships.

  • Due Diligence/External Surveys: Overseeing comprehensive due diligence/surveys for third parties. This involves ensuring active completion by third parties, escalation where necessary and monitoring of any gaps from the assessments.

  • Performance Management: Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for third party providers. You will actively track performance, identify deviations, and liaise with Relationship Owners to ensure they are aware of any performance issues.

  • Ongoing Monitoring: Implementing continuous monitoring mechanisms to track the TPRM activities for the allocated areas.

  • Exit Management: Working with Relationship Owners, develop and execute robust exit strategies for third-party relationships. This includes ensuring the secure transfer of data, the smooth transition of services, and the proper termination of contractual obligations to minimize disruption and mitigate post-termination risks.

In this dynamic and impactful role, you will provide indispensable support to the Third Party Risk Leadership team. You will achieve this by working closely with allocated business areas, acting as their primary liaison to meticulously oversee all critical services delivered by third parties. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will be essential as you work directly with both Relationship Owners within our organization and the third-party providers themselves, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all TPRM activities. This direct engagement is vital for fostering strong relationships, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining a high level of compliance and risk mitigation across our third-party portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders across Legal, Information Security, and Business teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, especially when managing complex technical evidence.
