Third Party Management Associate Advisor
Position Overview
In this role, you will be part of a team of Third Party Management professionals within the Global Procurement, Third Party Management, & Shared Services (GPTPMS) organization. GPTPMS provides procurement-related services to the greater Cigna Group. A key function of this position is to perform supplier governance, manage supplier issues, drive supplier performance, and minimize risk within our supplier contracts. This position will be an exciting opportunity for establishing a Third Party Management (TPM) presence within the innovation hub.

This is a hands-on position reporting to management with visibility into GPTPMS leadership.
Responsibilities
• Perform supplier governance tasks within the TPM tool for assigned Suppliers including supplier profiling, research, spend reviews, and other tasks as assigned
• Perform vendor-facing assessments including SLA reviews, business continuity plan reviews, contact updates, insurance certificate reviews, and other assessments as needed
• Manage and analyze supplier scorecards and surveys, ensuring proper measurement of supplier performance and sentiment within the Enterprise
• Assist other TPM team members and leaders with day-to-day supplier management, supplier issue resolution, performance management, and other activities as needed
• Collaborate with sourcing teams and other TPMs and business requesters to assist in supplier performance management and negotiations as needed.
• Perform reporting and analysis on spend and supplier portfolios as needed
• Perform analysis on expiring contracts, renewals, and other contract pipeline data as needed to support the business areas and strategic sourcing
• Execute terminations and non-renewals of supplier agreements as needed, ensuring appropriate steps are taking to offboard the supplier’s services
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong skills in understanding legal and commercial supplier contract terms and conditions
• Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Broad knowledge of all aspects of procurement including onboarding, contracting, payment, and basic operations
Required Experience & Education:
• 5+ Years of relevant experience
• Contracting or vendor management experience within indirect procurement
• Experience with procurement or third-party management in an onshore/offshore model.
• College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
• Exposure to Third Party Management systems such as ProcessUnity, Ariba or similar Procurement systems, and Icertis or similar Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems
• Experience working with a matrix organization and other internal partners to execute on goals
• Experience in a broad range of indirect procurement categories such as health & wellness, business process outsourcing, technology, corporate services, and others
Desired Experience:
• Experience in the health-related fields such as health services, health insurance, pharmacy benefits management, and related fields
• Experience with HIPAA, Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and other related US Healthcare concepts
• Experience with Purchase Order terminology and Procure-to-Pay processes and industry standards
• Coaching and mentoring of team members
• Industry certifications such as SIG, CSCP, CPM or similar
Location & Hours of Work
• Full-time position, working 45 hours per week. Expected shift is 1PM – 10PM India Standard Time to partially overlap with US hours as appropriate
• Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
