The role:
This role owns the relationship with assigned 3PL warehouses, driving accountability for cost and service KPIs with our vendors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cost management, budgeting, exception management with root cause analysis and resolution, inventory control activities, continuous improvement projects, and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:
- Manages the assigned 3rd party warehouse providers to maintaining a responsive and fluid warehousing organization. Maintains and reviews KPI / SLA requirements monthly with assigned 3rd party providers. Provides root cause and corrective actions for missing KPI /SLA targets. Directs the 3rd-Party vendors in meeting our changing business needs. Leads weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with 3rd party warehouse management as well as internal stakeholders.
- Owns budget and cost for assigned 3PLs. Manages a budget of $3m+, sets corresponding yearly budgets, and maintains latest estimate targets . Reviews all budgets monthly and provides root cause analysis for any misses. Drives continuous improvement projects to lower costs.
- Manages all warehouse exceptions including but not limited to the following: damages, short shipments, late receipts, order carry over, etc. Provides root cause analysis and corrective actions to all Kao stake holders.
- Coordinates the inspection, rework and disposal of all rejected inventories.
- Owns inventory control for assigned warehouses. Ensures inventories match between Kao ERP and the 3PLs WMS. Manages and clears discrepancies in a timely manner. Familiarity with SAP Idocs are a plus.
- Builds and manages internal and external relationships. Responsible for communicating any changes within their assigned warehouses to Kao stakeholders. Focuses on proactive communication.
- Owns projects applicable to their assigned warehouses.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree 6+ years of experience managing 3PL
- 2+ Years 3PL management with strong SAP skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level understanding of Excel.
- High level of SAP knowledge.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and manage projects within their assigned warehouses
