The Sr Marketing manager will be a part of the Theatrical Marketing team coordinating campaigns to support Crunchyroll’s theatrical marketing slate. From initial ideation to full execution, our strategies are key to driving awareness, expanding our box office reach, and amplifying Crunchyroll’s brand across the globe

As a key member of this team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director for Spanish-speaking Latin America, you'll play a pivotal role in managing theatrical marketing campaigns tailored specifically for this vibrant market. You’ll create impactful strategies that boost awareness, drive ticket sales, and execute theatrical campaigns across traditional, digital, and emerging platforms.

This is a hybrid position. Employees are expected to work from the office 2 set days a week.

About you: 

We’re seeking someone with deep expertise in Latin America, who thrives in collaborative environments and has a passion for delivering results.

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in the LATAM/Mexico region, with at least 1 year in the entertainment industry in Spanish-speaking Latin America.
  • Experience in managing marketing plans, timelines, and budgets uniquely suited for the Latin American market.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to drive strategic decisions that resonate with Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with a deep understanding of the cultural and market nuances of Latin America.

A day in the life of our Sr. Marketing Manager:

  • Collaborate with the Sony Pictures LATAM team to shape and implement release strategies, ensuring that all tactics are aligned for success in the Spanish-speaking Latin American market.
  • Lead and coordinate theatrical marketing campaigns, covering campaign preparation, creative asset management, project oversight, venue selection, and media optimization to maximize reach and conversion.
  • Manage budgets and timelines effectively, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of any changes while ensuring deliverables are met, specifically tailored to the Spanish-speaking LATAM region.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute campaigns across various channels, including TV, out-of-home (OOH), and paid media, with a strong focus on Anime fans in Latin America.
  • Foster collaboration between Crunchyroll’s global theatrical marketing team and Sony Pictures Latin America, ensuring alignment across all stages of the campaign, from production to trailer launches and asset distribution.
  • Create and update theatrical reports that highlight key campaign outcomes and box office performance for the Spanish-speaking Latin American market.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as brand, publicity, research, data, and partnerships to gather insights and shape strategy, ensuring the best possible results for the region.
  • Stay informed on theatrical and competitive market trends within Latin America, using those insights to fine-tune campaign strategies.

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

Three in-person days per week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are the company-wide days for ALL team members to be in the office, and individuals may choose to come in more if they please.
