About the role

We are looking a Theatrical Marketing Manager with a passion for creating standout campaigns and a proven track record in film or entertainment marketing. In this role, you’ll lead the EMEA release of anime films across a variety of genres, collaborating with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with creators and licensors. Report to the Senior Manager, EMEA Theatrical Marketing, you will manage theatrical marketing campaigns from start to finish. This includes developing campaign strategy, executing tactics, and overseeing creative assets. You will be responsible for the entire campaign process across traditional, digital, and emerging platforms, ensuring successful launches and tracking results.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • You will lead the EMEA release of new and sustaining anime film releases across a diverse range of genres, leading and galvanising the work with cross functional teams, and maintaining and building relationships with our creators / licensors.
  • You will manage theatrical marketing campaigns from ideation to execution including campaign positioning and strategy, tactical campaign execution, and creative asset management.
  • You will manage budgets and timelines, ensuring relevant partners stay informed about any campaign updates and release deliverables are met.
  • You will be responsible for end-to-end launch, management, and tracking theatrical campaigns across traditional, digital, and emerging platforms.
  • You will manage multiple responsibilities with a direct emphasis on film campaigns that drive awareness and global box office.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of experience in similar roles in entertainment; experience working in film ideal.
  • You have experience working on high impact theatrical or entertainment campaigns
  • You have experience managing 360 integrated campaigns (including AV/trailers, digital/social, print and out-of-home) at a global level
  • You are well-versed in the preparation and delivery of campaigns, including requesting creative assets, project management, and working with both external and internal partners.
  • You care about cultural nuances that come with working with global partners (external and internal) to plan campaigns and oversee execution across digital platforms, TV, events, and OOH.
  • You have experience collaborating with multiple territories on campaign components and marketing plans, ensuring alignment to overarching global campaign strategy, from campaign pitch, trailer launch, campaign strategy share-outs, and main campaign asset development.
  • You have experience working with recaps and ongoing campaign reporting.
  • You have experience managing multiple titles at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams (brand, publicity, research, data, research, and partnerships) to gain input on strategic direction and to inform planning and strategy.
  • You have an appreciation for movies/film!
