About the RoleMUBI is a rapidly growing global streaming service, production company and film distributor dedicated to elevating great cinema. MUBI makes, acquires, curates, and champions visionary films, connecting them to audiences all over the world. We are seeking a creative and passionate marketing professional with a keen eye for detail to join our team in Germany.
As our Theatrical Marketing Coordinator, you will help the distribution team to craft and deliver exciting and innovative marketing campaigns for our slate of new releases, across theatrical.
You will focus on:Support the Marketing Director on all theatrical releases in Germany
Conceptualise creative and exciting ideas for marketing campaigns including local and regional activations
Oversee localisation of creative assets
Manage asset delivery for media partners including drafting creative briefs and tracking deadlines
Coordinate outreach to key partners to broaden the reach of our marketing efforts
Manage trade marketing efforts including maintaining strong relationships with the cinemas, booking and delivering advertising campaigns and creating strong POS materials
Drafting copy for the website, digital ads and emails
Building email campaigns
Support in the planning and execution of paid digital campaigns across Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Google and programmatic
Preparing presentation decks for campaign round-ups
Ad-hoc talent and event support for releases, in collaboration with the Communications team
Passionate about quality cinema, from classics to new releases
Interested in expanding your knowledge of theatrical distribution
Creative and enthusiastic, with a good head for marketing strategy
A strong copywriter and great communicator
A keen project manager who can take ownership of working processes and find ways to improve them
Diligent and obsessed with the details
Capable of managing competing and last-minute deadlines
Good time management and prioritisation skills
2-3 years experience in film marketing, with a focus on theatrical distribution and exhibition
Fluency in German and English
Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets & Slides
Experience using Photoshop, InDesign and/or Premiere Pro desirable
This is a hybrid position located at our head office in Berlin.
