The position Senior HR & Admin Executive is considered as the key contact person from HR team for delivery of HR operations support including payroll processing for Santen Thailand. He/she will be working with the supervisor to implement HR activities and plans, partnering with regional COEs and local country team to ensure HR strategies execution in supporting achievement of business goals. The role will support implementation of services, policies, and programs, assists and advises employees about HR issues within the assigned scope of work. Reporting to the HRBP Vietnam, Thailand & Alliance Cluster, the Senior HR & Admin Executive also needs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the HR department for Santen Thailand

Job Description

What you will do

  • Data, system and reporting: Maintain and ensure the employees data is correct and up to date. Able to collect, produce and work with data and numbers to create reports related to HR: employment cost, headcount movement, turnover, etc. Responsible for executing on all HR transactions and administration, including workforce administration via the HRIS, SuccessFactors. master user of internal HR system.
  • Operation management: Recruitment: support on recruitment strategy, planning and execution. In charge of recruitment documents and logistics arrangement. Payroll: Prepare and update payroll data on monthly basis (time keeping, medical leave, absences, unpaid leave, salary changes, benefits, provident fund, etc.) correctly, on time with agreed timeline. Work with vendors to manage all local activities related payroll and compulsory social contribution, tax, pension and other tasks required by law. Tax: managing income tax clearance, reporting for local & expat, including year-end activities involving tax reporting. 
  • Welfare administration: manage, tracking the implementation of all local welfare policies. Ensure the correct submission from employees. Training: track and maintain training records, ensuring accurate and correct employee training information captured. HR Operation: being a member of the regional HR operation team on developing process, SOP and other initiatives.
  • Administration: Having a good understanding of local laws and regulations, able to advise and consult on employee-related issues to company. Provide guidance on a variety of HR functions, such as payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations to employees during the employment cycle with Santen. Consult with the direct manager for more strategic and complex requests or inquiry.
  • Employee cycle: managing personnel files, HRIS, labor contract/contract renewal process, HR documents and reports. Process personnel changes including new employee setups, terminations, status changes, moves & transfers. Provide end-to-end support and process all paperwork related to pre-onboarding, onboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, statutory claims, transfers and terminations Issuing income related documents, Visa/Invitation letters upon employee request. Prepare, reconcile invoices, obtain approval and send to Finance for payment related to HR and within the scope. Lead and participate in local or regional HR activities as required.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or others related field
  • At least 4 years’ experience in HR Generalist
  • Experiences in MNCs or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Superior command of business English (both oral and writing)
  • Accuracy in data and document management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding about business and strong growth mindset
  • Thailand nationality (or who can speak Thai fluently)
