Job Description
The successful candidate will assume a crucial role in the advancement of textile machinery and narrow textiles, with a particular emphasis on RFID technology. Responsibilities will encompass the ongoing development, troubleshooting, and production of textile constructions, in addition to other vital tasks.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Continued development and fault analysis of textile machinery and narrow textiles, with a focus on the RFID field.
- Production of textile constructions, including the creation of laying patterns, draw plans, and cartridges.
- Beaming and point paper planning to ensure optimal production processes.
- Parameterization and further development of machinery to enhance efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in textile machinery and processes, demonstrated by extensive experience with various machine types and in-depth knowledge of textile techniques.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with textile machinery, including raschel, narrow fabric weaving, knitting, and jacquard machines, along with their mechanical connections. Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, basic mechanical training or experience, and familiarity with RFID principles and applications are preferred.
- Textile Expertise: In-depth knowledge of yarns/threads, binding systems, and weaving/knitting techniques.
- Troubleshooting Acumen: Proven ability to conduct fault analysis on both mechanical and textile technical levels.
- Technical Documentation: Demonstrated ability to interpret and create technical drawings.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15-20% of the time.
- Communication: Open and direct communication style.
- Teamwork: Collaborative approach and strong team player.
- Problem-Solving: A patient and analytical approach to troubleshooting complex issues.
