The Testing & Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing student educational testing, class schedules, and attendance rosters. This position ensures that the TABE testing is scheduled, administered, scored, and documented accurately and in accordance with DOL and company requirements. The Coordinator maintains the integrity and confidentiality of student testing data while working closely with Academic, CTT, and other Center departments to support student progress and success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and oversee student class schedules and attendance rosters.
- Coordinate, administer, and score TABE.
- Schedule testing in a timely and accurate manner to support Academic and CTT classes.
- Post and distribute testing schedules and communicate testing information to appropriate staff and students.
- Ensure all testing procedures and practices comply with DOL, company, and program requirements.
- Maintain a secure, organized, and appropriate testing environment that supports testing integrity.
- Review and approve documentation used to validate student testing eligibility.
- Submit required testing documentation and information to the Academic Manager.
- Maintain accurate student testing records and ensure the integrity of all student data.
- Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensure there is no manipulation of student data.
- Identify and address scheduling or testing issues and follow up to ensure appropriate resolution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and productive work area.
- Work collaboratively with staff across departments to ensure students receive effective services and support.
- Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards in accordance with the PRH.
- Provide appropriate supervision and guidance to students while promoting positive behavior and accountability.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Produce accurate, thorough, and timely work while meeting established deadlines.
- Maintain appropriate attendance, accountability, productivity, and professional standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive student information.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and management.
- Ability to accurately manage schedules, records, and testing documentation.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
Preferred
- Advanced or post-secondary degree.
- Experience with educational testing, student records, scheduling, or data management.
- Experience working in an educational, workforce development, or youth-serving environment.
- Familiarity with Job Corps policies, procedures, or the PRH.
