Responsibilities

The T&C Manager is in charge to manage the testing and commissioning activities for ESEC projects. He/ She is in charge to elaborate the testing strategy and methodology. He/ She shall oversee the progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Responsible for the selection, management and retention of MEP T&C Engineers and enforce policies & procedures to improve overall effectiveness of the function
• Provide inputs to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure
• Direct the development of KSA national employees across the function to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets and lead the knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance
• Manage and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
• Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values across all function’s employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices
• Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP
• Identify and track KPIs for the MEP T&C team and devise plans and initiatives for improvement
• Strive to streamline and refine comprehensive policies, operational business processes, systems and procedures
• Provide leadership and guidance and monitor effective teamwork and cooperation with Finance, Human Resources, Commercial, Quality Health Safety Environment (QHSE), Communication, and Technical Services functions

• Conduct, chair, minute and follow up on the actions arising from formal Testing and Commissioning review meetings
• Conduct workshop reviews, together with Final Client, the Contractor and any Project Stakeholders and interface parties
• Ensure the Contractor receives the necessary timely responses to his submissions in line with the overall Master Project Schedule
• Issue all such Testing and Commissioning documentation, in summary form, to the Client for confirmation of no objection
• Undertaking an assessment of all risks relating to Environmental Health Safety and Quality (EHSQ) of the Works fulfilling requisite information security requirements
• Monitoring, review and report the T&C requirements/achievements
• Undertaking regular reviews of supply chain/sub-contractors’ methods of work to ensure they remain suitable for the task
• Monitoring works to ensure compliance with agreed systems of work
• Ensuring that all statutory inspections are carried out
• Identifying any training needs for the project teams and ensuring a plan is provided
• Use all recording tools and data to keep an accurate position of the project programme
• Remain up to date with current health and safety legislation
• Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace
• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements

Qualifications

Must have multi-discipline experience/expertise to follow up all areas of heavy construction works in the project
• Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline Either Electrical Or Mechanical
