Join our team as a Testing Associate to drive innovation in automated testing solutions within the Financial Services industry!
As a Testing Associate in the Cross Product Change Services team, you will support the strategic rollout of automated testing solutions.
The Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) team provides integrated change, testing and implementation support to Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Securities Services stakeholders. CPCS capabilities include end-to-end test management and automation, business analysis, data analytics and program management, which are tailored to enable strategic initiatives in the Securities Services businesses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides accurate testing estimates during daily scrum calls
- Documents and executes test scenarios by identifying specific scenarios and writing test scripts using Business Driven Development, such as Gherkin
- Partners closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups
- Identifies opportunities to accelerate and synergizes testing processes for assigned projects, and share the information with other team members for validation prior to implementation
- Monitors and reports on testing defects and manage the re-testing process
- Deputizes for the Test Manager as necessary in project calls and communications with relevant colleagues
- Validates and present test results for internal sign-off
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Relevant testing experience within the Financial Services industry, supporting multiple lines of business (LOBs) in a highly complex, pressurized, and high-volume environment
- Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and the ability to learn and work with evolving methodologies
- Experience in testing processes to define requirements, document user stories, and test scripts through to test execution
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on day-to-day activities
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to dynamically manage and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and to tight deadlines
- Experience using Business Driven Development/Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation
- Proficiency in PowerPoint/Pitch Pro skills, with the ability to create professional slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Securities Services, specifically in the Depositary Service function, is advantageous
- Working knowledge of direct testing with Clearing Houses and Central Banks would be an advantage
- Project/Agile methodology qualification is preferred
