PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

- To support set-up and release activities of tester system for final testing.
- To reduce tester down time and tester down frequency
- To Support product engineer for testing data analysis, evaluation, and lot release.
- To support Tester related and product related improvement projects
- Support matters from the supervisor
Job Description
- Tester set up, release, maintenance, troubleshooting.
- Production first contact window for tester hardware issue.
- MSA operation and report generation, release tester in time.
- Engineering activities support, DOE running, test program verification.
- Support Product engineer for testing data analysis, evaluation, and lot release.
- Actively leading CIP projects for tester related.
- Blocked parts handling, storing and release in production line.
- Support failure analysis activities as per OCAP or as directed by supervisor.
- Trouble shooting on PCB level, including Oscilloscope and soldering
- Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the manufacturing environment in semiconductor production environment
- Diploma qualification is a must in the Electronics and Software Engineering
- Able to work as a team with good teamwork and maintain a healthy working environment
- Possess a good communication skills & able to communicate in cross functional way
- Knowledge in BPS tools, Poka-Yoke & accurate working is an added advantage
- Able to perform technical analysis and possess the relevant mechanical, electrical and problem solving skills
- Able to perform technical discussion and report technical issues in systematic manner
- Able to instruct operators and coordinate with suppliers
- Able to understand the correlations between quality, cost and delivery & readiness to reduce Co2 according to company target
- Able to bring suggestions for improvement potential in his area
