Join us as a Test Team Manager.
Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old.
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Test Team Manager to join our Infomediary Data Solutions. In this role you will act as the Test Lead on specific projects, taking ownership of the test strategy and overseeing other teams’ testing efforts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Overall:
- Manage relationships with leadership, the Product Management team, and other external parties.
- Operate independently as a leader while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Proactively identify issues and navigate across organizations to solve complex problems with limited supervision.
- Exhibit technical expertise in testing methodologies and have a good understanding Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Testing:
- Monitor and manage team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and prioritize testing activities to meet project timelines and business objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for the IDS organization.
- Oversee the delivery of test plans, strategies, and summaries for each project and release cycle.
- Produce and analyze testing metrics and reports for projects/releases, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Ensure alignment between Systems and Business teams in testing efforts (Development, Quality Management, Business Analysts, Hexaware, etc.), driving efficiency improvements and avoiding duplication of efforts.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand testing needs, communicate business priorities, and align resources accordingly.
- Manage external test teams, such as Hexaware, ensuring alignment and quality deliverables in ongoing projects.
- Drive test automation initiatives by coordinating with Systems and Quality Management teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and optimizing automated test coverage.
- Coordinate with Systems teams on testing region maintenance periods, effectively communicating planned outages and ensuring swift resolution of unplanned disruptions.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices and internal IDS standards for all Product Management projects.
- Educate and mentor IDS team members on SDLC best practices and the proper use of testing tools.

Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar role, with hands-on expertise in testing and leading testing efforts.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and SDLC processes.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external testing resources.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues under pressure.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on driving results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, qTest, Selenium, or similar testing platforms.
- Knowledge of waterfall, Agile and DevOps principles.
- Experience in managing offshore testing teams.
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent testing qualifications is a plus.
