At NEURA Robotics, we are building the next generation of cognitive robots. As a Test & System Engineer – Quadruped, you will ensure the functionality, reliability, and safety of our quadruped robotic systems through structured system and hardware testing.
You will play a key role in validating robotic platforms before they pass critical quality gates and move into the next development or delivery phase. Working directly on real robot systems, you will execute integration tests, identify issues early, and collaborate closely with development and test automation teams to continuously improve product quality.
System Testing & ValidationPlan, prepare, and execute System Integration Tests (SIT) on NEURA's quadruped robots
Verify functions, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces across the complete robotic system
Perform smoke and sanity tests as quality gates before SIT execution
Conduct end-to-end testing across hardware, software, electronics, and mechanical subsystems
Validate system behavior, performance, reliability, and safety requirements
Identify, document, classify, and track defects using Jira and related test management tools
Create structured test reports, test result documentation, and defect analyses
Support root cause investigations together with development and engineering teams
Ensure transparent communication of test status and product quality risks
Develop and maintain test benches, test rigs, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
Collaborate closely with Software Test Automation teams on automated test execution and CI/CD integration
Support acceptance testing, compliance validation, and product qualification activities
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and quality standards
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in system testing, hardware testing, or integration testing

What We Do
NEURA Robotics is a German high-tech company founded in 2019 in Metzingen near Stuttgart with the vision to revolutionize the world of robotics. More than 180 team members from over 30 countries are working on advanced technologies in the fields of environmental perception, drive and control technology, material science, mechanical design, and artificial intelligence. We are expanding the cognitive capabilities of robots and make breakthrough advances in a variety of areas to bring robots and humans closer together, making many areas of work more attractive, creative, and social again. That's why everything we do runs under the guiding principle "we serve humanity". In a very short period of time, NEURA Robotics has developed robots and technologies that are characterized above all by their outstanding performance as well as safe and human-centred way of working. In this way, a wide variety of application fields can be covered, from intelligent production to medical technology. All major robot components are developed and designed in-house.
