What success looks like in this role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Global Transition Testing Manager to lead the end-to-end coordination of testing activities during IT service transitions. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all testing—across internal teams and client engagements—is aligned with business objectives and conducted to the highest quality standards.
As part of the IT Service Transition phase—an essential component of the ITIL lifecycle—you will play a critical role in verifying that new or modified services are fit for purpose, mitigate risk, and deliver measurable value.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how testing is executed across global projects while working closely with cross-functional teams and enterprise clients.
Your role will include:Writing Test Plans
Identifying Test Resources for Internal Testing
Collating Test Cases
Efficient execution of Test Cases
Logging and tracking defects to resolution
Working with Transition Managers to identify UAT Testers amongst our Clients
Building UAT Plans and Kick-off meetings
Conducting Test Execution Progress meeting and Defect Triages
Reporting of progress and Statistics to inform project decision making
Skill Requirements
Familiarity with enterprise systems and application interdependencies.
Advanced problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
Attention to detail in planning, executing, and documenting all test-related activities.
Ability to assess and prioritize risks to guide test coverage and resource allocation.
Consulting & Client-Facing Skills
Previous experience in a consulting or costing environment, with an understanding of client dynamics.
Awareness of how testing excellence impacts the client perception of project professionalism and delivery quality.
Knowledge of project management principles to ensure timely and structured testing delivery.
Experience managing the human side of change, preparing stakeholders for new services.
Understanding of quality assurance practices, configuration management, and incident/problem resolution during test phases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Strong ability to work cross-functionally with development, operations, and business teams.
Experience in stakeholder management, managing expectations at all levels of the organization.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
ITIL 4 Foundation certification (preferred) with a strong understanding of service transition principles.
ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Test Manager role, leading complex testing initiatives across multiple teams and projects.
