 Are you passionate about structured, efficient testing that brings visibility and confidence to software delivery? We’re looking for a Senior Test Manager to join our Shared Services department in Central Test Team and play a key role in applying testing practices that ensure collaboration, transparency, and real value across teams.

Central Test Team builds end-to-end testing across various services and RELEX product areas. The team fosters a collaborative environment where team members have their different focus areas but actively support each other. You’ll be also working in collaboration with the QA managers. 

Your role: As our Senior Test Manager, you’ll have a key role in planning and coordinating testing practices across multiple projects. You’ll be responsible for making sure that test reports of our department services are clearly visible (Xray reports in Jira releases), that collaboration around testing works across project boundaries, and that responsibilities are actively agreed upon, not assumed. 

This is a strategic and hands-on role where your experience and insight will help us build smarter, smoother releases. You’ll also occasionally roll up your sleeves and support teams with manual release testing when needed. 

In this role, you will: 

• Take initiative, bring clarity in complex projects and ensure that things move forward even when responsibilities span across teams.
• Ensure test results and readiness are clearly traceable and visible in Jira (especially around releases)
• Plan and coordinate testing activities across projects and teams 
• Facilitate collaboration and drive shared understanding of desired outcomes and testing responsibilities
• Identify what kinds of testing are needed and where (unit testing, automated integration and system testing, exploratory testing)
• Facilitate testing related workshops, coach development in implementing testing practices
• Occasionally participate in hands-on manual release testing when necessary

We believe you’ll thrive if you: 

• Have solid experience in software test management in a multi-project R&D environment
• Understand the big picture of software quality in SaaS setup and how testing supports business outcomes
• Understand the meaning of different testing levels and where they are needed
• Communicate fluently across roles in English; R&D leadership, developers (including test engineers), product owners, release managers, and business stakeholders
• Have a proactive mindset and a drive to bring structure and clarity to complex setups
• Know how to use tools like Jira and Xray effectively to support visibility and collaboration 

What we consider as advantage: 

• Experience in testing AI systems
• Experience in Jira administration and Xray test plugin or similar
• Background in test automation
• Knowledge on how to setup Gitlab pipelines to enhance quality gates
• Familiarity with complex software environments, especially if you’ve worked with:
  • Cloud platforms like Azure or private cloud setups
  • Data technologies such as Kafka, Blob Storage, or Snowflake (used in our integrations and data handling)
