Department OverviewInnovation is the oxygen of our company, and in 2023, we invested more than US$850 million in research and development (R&D). Job Description

We're looking for a software engineering test leader with a genuine interest in delivering quality embedded products.. You will play a key role in growing our team and ensuring our next line of communication devices are developed with the highest quality. Your leadership and technical skills will be crucial in helping us deliver practical, advanced technology to our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the overall software testing strategy for two-way radio products and features

  • Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and cases

  • Define and establish best practices for various testing methodologies

  • Lead a team in a multi-site, world-wide development environment

  • Understand secure programming practices to create mission critical and reusable software

  • Participation in peer review processes to maintain high standards of code quality

  • Develop intellectual property associated with software products and features

  • Finding, tracking, and repairing RTOS device software defects

  • Contribute to the improvement of existing mature software development processes

  • Drive improvements of existing mature software development processes


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering ​

  • Significant experience / Team Leadership Experience


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in real-time embedded software

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills

  • Experience using version control; Git is a plus

  • Experience with Linux is a plus

  • Experience in communications protocols (USB, TCP/IP, BT, LTE, WiFi) is a plus

  • Experience with the use of test equipment such as logic analyzers, serial data analyzers, oscilloscopes etc.) is a plus

  • Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing

  • Familiarity with automated testing methodologies

  • Familiarity of test management SW (e.g. ALM)
