Role Description

To ensure that all technology changes are tested, released, and deployed into the correct environments in a controlled, predictable, and high‑quality manner—minimizing business disruption and enabling successful delivery
 

Role Accountabilities

Collaboration

• Communicates proactively with local roll-out teams and KBUs to ensure testing processes are clear, efficient, well-coordinated, and meet business needs.
• Collaborates with operating lanes to deliver efficient and well-run testing processes.
• Collaborates across the EA Tower to design and deploy a consistent and efficient Test Management Framework, including test automation, performance testing, and other initiatives as approved by the Tower Director.

Test, Release, and Environment Management

• Ensure all testing activities run smoothly and meet quality standards by making sure environments are prepared and ready for each test cycle (smoke test, readiness validation). 
• Enforcing quality gates and test governance across CI cycles, major projects, and rollouts by coordinating with Test Managers, Tech teams, and UAT testers so test cycles run on time and with traceability.
• Ensure releases are deployed safely, consistently, and with full oversight by managing the orchestration of deployments across all Oracle Cloud environments and aligning release processes to quality gates and ensuring all pre‑deployment criteria are met. 
• Ensure that environments are stable, available, synchronized, and suitable for each stage of the delivery lifecycle by planning environment usage across multiple teams and delivery lanes
• Coordinating refreshes, configuration, and data availability for each testing type (Unit Test, SIT, UAT, Regression).
• Set clear process and governance standards across test, release and environment management to ensure high-quality outcomes are being delivered.

Key Shared Accountabilities

• Partnership with other EA Lanes and teams to achieve goals and exceed business expectations
• Development and implementation of the Test, Release and Environment Management Framework, processes, and SOPs including for test tooling, with other E&PA teams
• Ensures that team members are developing skills in testing methodologies, release governance, automation, cloud environments, and incident/problem management
   

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience with application test management for major ERP systems, at least 3 of which with Oracle eBS or Oracle Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience successfully planning and implementing a Test Management Framework in a global company with a multi-national, multi-vendor environment.
• Proven track record of achieving service excellence, including maintaining positive stakeholder relationships and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams with internal and external resources.
