As a Quality Engineer Lead, we expect you to possess a high level of knowledge and exposure across various software development lifecycle models and have the ability to accelerate quality with the application of appropriate tools and approaches.
This is a Wellington based role and Wellington market experience preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Review requirements for testability
- Contribute to test plans and other high level documentation where required
- Collaborate with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient
- Experience leading testing teams with Salesforce, Banking (lending or term deposits) Payroll/HRIS systems
- Identify test conditions/ test objectives and derive test cases using advanced test techniques
- Identify and apply tools to assist with the acceleration of quality
- Create comprehensive test assets in the appropriate tools relevant to test conditions
- Utilise appropriate tools to execute test cases and report results
- Raise, track and close defects
- Be a good communicator, able to collaborate with client teams, people to define test cases and acceptance criteria
- Enjoy change and new challenges. This is a Consulting role
- Be passionate about quality practices within IT delivery
Nice to have
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. Jira, ADO)
- Motivated to explore and maximise use of AI in testing
- Local experience and wide variety of domain knowledge preferred

Skills Required
- Experience leading testing teams with Salesforce, banking (lending or term deposits), or payroll/HRIS systems
