Your Position

The Test / Integration Engineer is responsible for drawing up the test design based on; a test plan, system design, system and customer demands. Implementing test cases and scripts based on test design, prepare the test execution and build and configure the test environment. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Test plan: Perform risk analysis, define test strategy, create test plan, Provide test effort estimates.
  • Test specification and preparation: Create test design based on test plan and design documentation, create test cases, Program stubs/drivers (test harness), Create test scripts (for automatic tests), Prepare test environment (setup IT infra, deploy software and tooling, configure system)
  • Execute tests: Execute tests (both in factory and on site) Analyse test results, Log test results, Verification of solutions to defect.
  • Report test results: Create test report, Create issue reports (in change management tooling)
  • Test coordination: Create test team planning, monitor test progress, Report test progress, Report and advise on quality.
  • Project support: Advise on solutions of complex and multi- disciplinary problems, Review design documentation on consistency and testability, Review test documentation by colleague’s engineers.
  • Continuous improvement: Transfer knowledge to other engineers, Initiates improvements in content, process and tooling, feeds back lessons learned from the project into product, process and tooling, Supports product manager engineering.

About You

  • Advanced knowledge of customer processes in relevant market segments
  • Advanced Understanding of material handling systems on a system level
  • Expert knowledge of relevant engineering processes Intermediate
  • Advanced knowledge of IT architecture Basic
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial automation (LLC)
  • Advanced knowledge of business process automation (HLC)
  • Advanced knowledge of test strategies / test methods / risk analysis and relevant tooling (Quality Centre, UFT / QTP, Jenkins, emulation tooling,)
  • Advanced knowledge of change- and configuration management and relevant tooling (Synergy, JIRA, SmarTeam, Omnitracker,)
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methods and relevant tooling (Visual studio, eclipse, oracle developer)
  • Advanced knowledge of integration strategies and processes
  • Logistically minded and highly organized.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and eager to learn.
  • Excellent people skills / working in team environment.
  • Good, computed skills (Microsoft office) *AutoCAD a plus.
