Test Fixture Engineering - Mechanical

Responsibilities :

We’re looking for innovative individuals who love the challenge to develop and deploy complicated test fixtures that can optimize features & functions of sub modules that will meet systems level equipment. These individuals will have the satisfaction of witnessing first-hand during their travels in Asia that their test equipment optimizes production yield. They will also have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams of different cultures and backgrounds.

Your typical day will include:

• Generation of complete 2D, 3D and Assembly prints.
• Completion of tolerance analysis on module to system level assembly.
• Assembly and/or modification of Fixtures and Test Equipment.
• Generation of test plans, lab set-up, data acquisition and analysis to verify module level design and or systems level functionality
• Supporting manufacturing build and resolving any technical issues.
• Documentation for Work and Assembly Instructions
• Drive and participate in projects and cooperate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
• Develop and drive innovation activities for new and existing programs/products which also include cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Define and collaborate on design validation with virtual and physical prototypes.

We invite you to join our team, if you are, 

• A licensed Mechanical Engineer
• With part and sub-systems design experience
• Knowledgeable in mechanical component prototype and sample fabrication (metal and plastic parts)
• Have a keen eye for details and timely delivery of work items

It’s an advantage if you have, 

• Knowledge and skill in analysis software like LabVIEW, DOE, and related methodologies
• Knowledgeable in PLM (Enovia)
• Knowledgeable in Pneumatic Systems and/or Mechatronics
• Experience in Project Management, Cost and Quality, Equipment and Fixture/Jig design
• Design for Manufacturing and tooling knowledge
• Good communication skills
