CSG is seeking an experienced Test engineer II to join our Ascendon team. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Test Engineer II with product development experience to join our growing teams.

We are looking for a Test Engineer II who will:
You will understand the requirements to develop and maintain the automated tests using an existing automation framework-
You will create and execute manual tests, accurately document test results, diagnose and create defects.
You will identify data needed for both manual and automated tests and create new data or obtain existing data to meet the requirements of the test.
You will be involved with releasing software and will collaborate with teams to ensure smooth deployments.
You will assist in identifying root cause of issues, analyzing logs, and resolving defects.
You will perform functional, application, regression, integration, and performance testing.
You will develop a deep understanding of our application which will allow you to understand our complex feature requirements and identify gaps and edge cases.
You will work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment, collaborating with developers, testers, product owners and cross functional teams to continuously enhance the testing of our applications.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a testing role, including the creation of both manual and automated tests.
Working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and best practices in test automation.
Experience testing web-based applications and API testing.
Experience with Postman or SoapUI
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes
Ability to support on-call rotation.
Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must
