About the Role

 As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing and validation of systems and mechanical components. You will serve as a key interface between various production sites and our Tech Center.

What You’ll Do

  • Work according to the Mechanical Test Strategy and adhere to processes and routines within ETC
  • Conduct and assist in complex tests, including programming test sequences, complex setups, and vehicle testing
  • Develop test procedures when generic ones or equipment are unavailable
  • Write test orders based on established test procedures
  • Report and communicate test results effectively
  • Assist other departments with testing and data collection
  • Program test setups
  • Read and understand customer requirements
  • Engage in strategy deployment, execution planning, and improvement initiatives within the Validation ETC department.

What We´re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Strong system knowledge of AWD and/or xEV products.
  • Proficiency in mechanical testing and mechatronics.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like DIAdem and CANalyzer.
  • Familiarity with test benches and measurement equipment.
  • Customer-focused approach (both internal and external).
  • Ability to teach and mentor others.
  • Creative and structured working style.
  • Some business acumen.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of systems, software, and mechanical components.
  • Knowledge of measurement technology.
  • Excellent English proficiency (all documentation is in English).
