Job Description
Level: Journeyman
This is a full-time opening in the Annapolis Junction area in Maryland.
Key Role:
Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Develop and analyze tests for products and systems and collaborate with other engineering departments when necessary. Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts and contribute to development of new principles and concepts. Lead development of solutions to highly complex problems. Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner. Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports and provide analysis of test procedures. Support on call 24/7/365 requirements.
Qualifications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.
Basic Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in software manual and automated testing

3+ years of experience executing command line Linux
-
2+ years of experience with government contracts
-
Experience using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets

Experience integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds

Experience creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of procedures

Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing

Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods

TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph

Bachelor’s degree; years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of Jenkins or other Continuous Integration Frameworks

Knowledge of PyTest automation frameworks

Knowledge of SPLUNK

Knowledge of working in an Agile environment
