Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Test Procedures:

  • Design and establish test protocols and procedures to evaluate the performance and quality of products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and industry standards.

Testing and Calibration:

  • Set up and conduct tests on production materials, components, and finished products. Calibrate test equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of testing data.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Generate detailed test reports and documentation to track performance, troubleshoot issues, and support product development.

​Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, product quality, and process reliability. Implement corrective and preventive actions for any test-related issues.

Troubleshooting:

  • Investigate and diagnose product failures and production issues, coordinating with other departments to resolve problems quickly and minimize downtime.

Quality Assurance Support:

  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to align testing procedures with quality objectives and regulatory requirements. Contribute to quality audits and inspections as required.

Test Equipment Maintenance:

  • Maintain, repair, and upgrade testing equipment and instruments as needed. Ensure all test equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and equipment calibration logs. Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in test equipment and software, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization software is a plus.
