Job Description
Ford is looking for a dynamic individual with experience in wireless connection technologies such as Bluetooth, Projection Services (Android Auto & CarPlay) and Wi-Fi, who has excellent analytical and debugging skills and can accelerate and improve quality of Ford's infotainment system. Successful candidate will be part of Ford's infotainment development team working closely with the Bluetooth and Projection Services teams helping to deliver software that runs on the latest infotainment systems that are used in Ford vehicles all over the world! You will part of a team that designs and implements customer-visible features that are used by millions of people every day. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to test software under real conditions in Ford vehicles.
Responsibilities

- Track, support, analyze and verify features/issues in JIRA (feature/issue tracking system) driving them to closure.
- Monitor product quality through effective testing strategy, planning, and execution,
- Collaborate closely with other software testers, product owners, and developers in an agile environment.
- Create, review, execute and maintain test cases, test plans and test strategies for new and existing features.
- Perform interoperability (IOP) testing with various devices.
- Work closely with external software/hardware partners/vendors.
- Develop test automation using Python Scripting

Required Skills
- Experience with Projection (Android Auto and Car Play) Testing
- Experience with Certification Process for both Android Auto and Apple Carplay
- Experience with Bluetooth profiles and protocols such as HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP
- Automation Development (Scripting languages: Python and shell / Languages: C, C++)
- Excellent experience of QA activities like requirement analysis, test case/plan/strategy creation and manual testing
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth protocol analyzers such as Ellysis and FTE
- Hands-on experience with functional, system, regression and performance testing
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about quality and software excellence
- Experience on testing process, test management and planning
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
- 5+ years of working experience (wireless technology)
Desired Skills
- Automation Development (Scripting languages: Python and shell / Languages: C, C++)
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
