The Opportunity

Allegro Grenoble is the technology centre for all Allegro’s TMR based transducers. This job is to work within the test engineering group to design, develop and implement test methodologies and data analyses that allow full transducer and product test coverage.

What You'll Do

  • Design a complete test solution (hardware and software) on Automated Test Equipment (ATE). (Experience with Teradyne Eagle systems is appreciated)
    • Probe card design for multisite and high-quality magnetic characterization
    • Create test programs, debug and validate, and integrate with test equipment
  • Evaluation of product from 1st Silicon to Low Volume Manufacturing (LVM) phase and release to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) stage based on Manufacturing Validation (MV) product maturity acceptance criteria
  • Performing systematic engineering analysis and writing clear technical reports
  • Performing bench verification and taking corrective action for new products in Low Volume Manufacturing (LVM).
  • Working closely with Design Eng, Product Eng., Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to solve new product issues and production problems, and to feedback the lessons learned and best-known methods.
  • Preventing the potential occurrences of yield variance, optimize test time and algorithms, solve test related problems
  • Delivering customer electrical samples in LVM
  • Providing engineering support to all Allegro’s Design, Sales, Quality and Manufacturing sites.

What You Will Need

  • Master's degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, Physics, Materials Science.

  • At least 3+ years of xperience in the field of Test Engineering, ideally with Teradyne Eagle systems

  • Good understanding of the product including magnetics with a working knowledge of analog / digital ASIC design

  • Programming experience in C++ & Python

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.

  • JMP or equivalent statistical data analysis

  • Working knowledge of analog/digital circuit design

  • Problem-solving skills and keen awareness of the critical importance of reliability in products.
