Job Description:
Work Location: Capco Pune - Hinjewadi - 3 days WFO - Tues, Wed, Thurs - Hybrid
Work Shift Timings: 6am- 3pm
Required Skills: Functional, regression, integration, and UAT Testing, Oracle HCM and PeopleSoft Financials modules
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support the testing and validation of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions and PeopleSoft Financials within a regulated financial services environment. This role ensures integrity, security, and compliance of HR systems and data, aligning with both internal controls and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Absence Management)
- Conduct thorough end-to-end testing of PeopleSoft Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management), covering both out-of-the-box features and custom-build enhancements
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple environments
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and compliance teams to ensure test coverage meets regulatory and audit requirements
- Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Oracle Test Manager
- Validate data accuracy, system configurations, and security roles
- Support quarterly Oracle updates and patch testing cycles
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, SOX controls, and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, APPI)
- Provide QA sign-off for production releases and maintain audit-ready documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 4+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in Oracle HCM Cloud and PeopleSoft Financials
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules and workflows
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (specifically General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Asset Management)
- Ability to understand and test customizations within Peoplesoft
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite)
- Proficiency in test management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM)
- Knowledge of HR compliance, data privacy, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s)
- PeopleSoft Financials certification(s)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, FCA, MAS)
