Test Engineering Group Manger
The Alphawave Semi team combines technologists from different disciplines who come together with a shared passion for electronics, software, and communication technology. We look for individuals with a deep desire to build great products and we value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems.
We are looking for a creative and team-player Senior/Experienced ATE Test Engineer to manage our Test engineering team to jointly lead our products to a successful production launch.
What You'll Do
- Manage and mentor a team of test engineers, including defining growth plans for team members.
- Provide hands-on technical management and leadership to drive innovative solution design and implementation.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to deliver timely and meaningful feedback, incorporating insights into testing processes.
- Lead the definition, development, and characterization of analog and digital test modules to be integrated into production test programs at both the wafer level and final test stages.
- Translate design specifications and datasheets into ATE test definitions, collaborating closely with VLSI teams, including Architecture, Design/DFT, Back-End, Software, Hardware, and Verification teams.
- Implement test definitions into high-quality, reliable ATE test modules, including coding, debugging, validation, characterization, feedback reporting, and support for mass production ramp-up.
- Oversee the design and development of ATE hardware (load boards and probe cards) with a focus on optimized high-speed SerDes testing. Analyze and evaluate component specifications against performance requirements.
- Work independently with company stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth coordination and execution.
- Travel to vendor sites, both within and outside Israel, as required.
What You'll Need
- Proven leadership and management experience in the test engineering field.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and quick learner with a strong sense of ownership, commitment, and responsibility.
- B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including VLSI, Back-End, Hardware Engineering, Quality & Reliability, and external vendors.
- At least 5 years of hands-on ATE test development experience or equivalent expertise.
- Practical experience with Advantest and/or Teradyne testers.
- Expertise in pre-silicon DFT for production, including pattern generation, conversion, and virtual testing.
- Experience in post-silicon test program characterization and qualification, ensuring production-quality test programs.
- Technical proficiency in Design for Test (DFT) methodologies and testing high-speed SerDes IPs is a significant advantage.
