Leidos is hiring a Test Engineer to work with a Government-Contractor team providing a near real-time, geospatially accurate Common Operating Picture (COP) to support mission requirements. This COP enables sharing and reuse of geospatial intelligence across multiple function areas in support of military operations. The Test Engineer will support systems responsible for processing, exploitation, and dissemination of multi-discipline and multi-sensor intelligence, mapping, and weather information to weapon system platforms and
Warfighters.
Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for software verification and validation, including test planning, development, execution, analysis and associated documentation.

Assists in the development of the test strategy in order to meet the release schedule.

Coordinates testing activities, supports bug reporting and tracking and software test processes.

Responsible for writing tests, executing those tests, and reporting the results.

Initiates and analyzes problem reports and change proposals.

Develops strong cooperative relationships with engineering and management teammates to achieve end-to-

end product quality.

Ensures that hardware/software under test implements the functionality specified in all approved requirement documents and that it performs as expected from the customers perspective.

Must have knowledge of Government security policies and familiarity with security-related technologies and auditing tools.

Designs, constructs, and implements manual and automated tests that thoroughly exercise the product from the perspective of the customer.

Assesses system and software level requirement specifications, software design, interface design, test, and other development related documentation as needed.

Assists with implementation of the enhancements, including documentation, instruction and hands-on- training of others.
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree (Computer science, Information systems, Engineering, business or related scientific or technical discipline) and 2 years of experience OR Master's Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years work experience, OR Associate's Degree plus 2 years of experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

An active secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications

Two years test and evaluation experience on DoD intelligence or command, control and communications programs/projects.

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
