About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer II to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, executing automated and performance tests, and leveraging AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and quality.
You will work with modern tools like Playwright with TypeScript, Selenium with Java, JMeter, and AI-assisted testing tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
· Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
· Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
· Develop and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter
· Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and analysis
· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
· Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
· Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
· Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports
· Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
· Ensure best practices in test automation, coding standards, and framework design
· A person who has worked on automation using AI will be highly preferred.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in automation testing
· Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript
· Experience with API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools)
· Experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter
· Good understanding of automation framework design (POM, modular frameworks, etc.)
· Experience with version control tools such as Git
· Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
· Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
· Good debugging and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience using AI-powered tools for testing, debugging, or automation
· Experience with test management tools (Qase, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
· Knowledge of performance tuning and analysis
Good to Have:
· Experience with CI/CD automation integration
· Experience in accessibility or security testing
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
