Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Test Engineer, Associate to join our team! In this role you will get to provide support to the US Coast Guard’s biometric program.

Work will be remote with occasional travel to customer location in Portsmouth, VA.
 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conducting end-to-end software testing
• Supporting end user hardware/software troubleshooting
• Updating and tracking service desk tickets
• Capturing/communicating best practices and lessons learned to end users. 
• Support development of technical documentation for customer. 
• Develop, update, and conduct system verification testing of all devices, servers, and applications for the USCG. 
• Serve as a backup point of contact supporting Javelin Mobile Device Management and Ares Gateway reporting. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• 1+ years of experience as a technical writer for the US Government.
• 2-3 years of experience conducting software testing.
• Ability to travel 25% to customer site in Portsmouth, VA

• Ability to clearly articulate the application of relevant laws and regulations, as well as principles and policies related to area of responsibility, and provide appropriate guidance to managers.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential assignments and work in a fast-paced, highly-visible environment.
• Mastery of software required for related work assignments.

Salary Range: 

$61,200.00 - $107,100.00
