OVERVIEW:
The Sensors and Robotics Team at Aramco’s Houston Research Center creates disruptive technologies to advance discovery of resources, recovery from the subsurface, and operational efficiency. We’re looking for a creative, hands-on problem solver who plays well with others, likes to tackle big challenges, and takes responsibility for delivering results. Our interests include developing sensors and robotic systems for automating our Upstream operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze lab data and field data to evaluate the performance of sensors and systems
- Develop engineering and manufacturing documentation, including test procedures, assembly procedures and engineering drawings.
- Develop testing fixtures and test setups for environmental and performance testing.
- Assemble final products for shipment to users in the field.
- Must have experience with electronics lab equipment
- Occasional travel required to technical conferences and to support testing new technologies at our facilities in Saudi Arabia
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized college or university.
- Five (5) years applicable professional experience.
- Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices including scientific and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, and codes, standards and specifications.
- Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette
