Job Description:
Essential Job Functions: Lead the design, development, and implementation of test automation solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop automated testing strategies, and implement automated testing frameworks. Develop and maintain automated test scripts, test data, and test environments to ensure efficient and effective testing. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Ensure that automated testing is integrated into the overall software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Basic Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Typically, 8 years of relevant work experience in the software industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar test automation role • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products Other Qualifications: • Expert-level certification in test automation, such as TEST AUTOMATION 3 - Expert • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# • Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
