Our challenge

Finding a talented Test database automation engineer candidate will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of database systems through automation. This talented professional will ensure the reliability and performance of database systems through automated testing, collaboration with development teams, and continuous improvement practices.

The Role

Requirements:

• Focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of database systems through automation.
• Conducting various types of testing (functional testing, performance testing, load testing, and regression testing) specifically for database applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define testing strategies, test plans, and test cases for database-related features and functionalities.
• Working with various database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to ensure that the database design supports the application’s requirements.
• Ensuring the data stored in databases is accurate and consistent by performing data validation checks and verification tasks.
• Analyzing database performance and identifying potential issues, suggesting optimizations or improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Documentation; Troubleshooting and Debugging (providing detailed reports).

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience on Database Testing.
• Good experience on  ETL testing and Automation (maintenance level).
• Hands-on programming experience (Java, C, C#) and SQL DB querying and/or other database testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with complex SQLs and Database.
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing efficient test case design and test architecture techniques, automation framework(s) & automation strategies.
• Experience working with Agile and test integration.
• C# or Playwright would be a plus.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills (English and Spanish).
