For our team working on the advanced eCommerce solution (online shop), dedicated for the both B2B and B2C customers on the Scandinavian market, we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer capable of developing a test suite framework for both backed and fronted part of the solution.
About The Project
- We are following Agile principles and releasing a new version to production every second day to incrementally provide business value, even if it's very small.
- We are implementing Continuous Delivery model and perform multiple releases per sprint.
- As an Agile framework, we are leaning more towards Extreme Programming with pair programming being our preferred way of working.
- We are promoting the teamwork and collaboration spirit where every team member feels responsibility for the entire product within a scope of their competences.
- The entire team (backed and frontend) consists of 9 people.
- Tech stack: Vue 2, JS, Jest, Webpack, Storybook, Java, CSS, SASS, HTML, XSL.
- Additional tools: Figma, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Supporting development teams in terms of quality and testing.
- Preparing test plans and test scenarios.
- Design, build and maintain automated tests.
- Reduce the backlog of manual regression tests.
- Improve current automation practices by introducing best practices.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing in the areas where there is an absence of any automation.
- Taking part in code review for automation tests to help improve team’s knowledge and to suggest improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years proven track record in this role preferably in an international and multicultural environment working in classing and virtual teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) for software development and DevOps.
- Experience with Performance testing.
- Programming experience with Serenity, Cucumber, Selenium, REST Assured and Java 17.
- Experience with API testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence
- Experience with BDD driven agile methodology.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing theory and software development process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with both technical and non-technical personnel.
