Main responsabilities
This position is the backfill for test automation engineer responsible for functional, integration and system automation testing for Crop Harvesting Software.
This role is critical to ensure the crop harvesting software is tested with automated scripts to ensure quality of software.
- Automotive PVV background: Awareness on testing techniques (Preferred to have ISTQB Foundational training)
- Good knowledge CAN/LIN and J1939 protocol
- Relevant experience in SW PVV : Test plan creation, test case writing and test execution
- HIL systems exposure (ETAS, NI, dspace) in the automotive Domain (Software PV&V)
- Experience in planning and execution using Agile methodology (Rally Tool)
- Good programming skills in Python or MatLab Simulink or Cosym, Control desk
- Expertise in MIL(Model in Loop), SIL(Software in Loop) & HIL(hardware in Loop) testing
- Knowledge of continues integration tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
- Well versed with test automation tools like ECU Test, Automation desk, TestStand
What skills you need
- 0 to 2 years of work experience on Embedded Software
- testing in MIL, SIL & HIL.
- HIL systems exposure (ETAS, NI, dspace) in the
- Automotive Domain (Software PV&V)
- Good programming skills in Python or MatLab Simulink, Cosym, Control desk
- Knowledge of continues integration tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
- Well versed with test automation tools like ECU Test, Automation desk, TestStand
- Sound Knowledge of Automotive Domain
- Understanding of Real Time Simulation environment
- Exposure to Communication Protocols like RS 232 , I2C, SPI, CAN J1939, ISOBUS
- Aware of Embedded Software Development Life cycle
- Well versed with software quality metrics
- Basic Knowledge of any programming Language C, C# o or Python

Education
- Bachelors or Masters in Electronics, Electronics & Electrical, Instrumentation, Automotive Engineering or Computers or Equivalent.
