Job Summary
We seek experienced high-performing Software Quality Engineers for positions involving quality assurance and test automation for a Private Cloud Platform solution aimed at enabling distributed Edge computing.
You will join a highly skilled team delivering a highly distributed private cloud platform supporting containerized applications in addition to supporting virtual machines and bare metal nodes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Analyze requirements, create test plans and test cases, execute functional/exploratory tests;
- Automate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development;
- Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles;
- Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy;
- Participate in technical discussions with customer;
- Coordinate with development team to drive product quality;
- Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc);
- Perform regression tests to validate fixes.
Essential Skills
- Experience with Python for testing;
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers;
- Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools;
- Experience working on Linux platforms.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify root cause of issues;
- Experience working with testing tools: Pytest Framework / Cypress;
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment.
