Job Description
As a Test Automation Engineer at Fugro, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of our web-based data processing pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute automated test scenarios, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality product. What You Will Do- Design and implement automated test scripts for web-based data applications.- Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA team members to understand application features and design effective test strategies.- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on test status, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate resolution.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies at Fugro.- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in test automation. What We Are Looking For- 3+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar.- Strong programming skills in languages like C#, Python, or JavaScript.- Experience with API testing and integration testing.- Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Bonus Points- Experience with performance testing tools- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).- Previous experience working with geospatial data.How We WorkAt Fugro, we believe in alignment, autonomy, and personal accountability throughout the product life cycle.
