Test Architect(Python + AI‑Driven Automation)

Job title: SW Test Automation Architect
Test Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation automated testing frameworks. This role combines deep expertise in Python-based automation, AI-driven testing strategies, and architectural vision to ensure robust, scalable, and intelligent testing solutions for complex software systems.

• Architect and Implement Frameworks:
  • Design enterprise-grade test automation frameworks leveraging Python and AI/ML capabilities.
  • Integrate AI-assisted testing tools for predictive analytics, self-healing scripts, and intelligent test selection.
• Automation Strategy & Governance:
  • Define automation standards, best practices, and governance models across teams.
  • Establish KPIs for automation coverage, speed, and quality.
• CI/CD Integration:
  • Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• AI Enablement:
  • Apply AI for test case generation, defect prediction, and code quality analysis.
  • Collaborate on AI-driven initiatives like BDD coverage optimization and synthetic test data generation.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to align automation with product architecture.
  • Mentor engineers on advanced automation and AI testing practices.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze existing frameworks and recommend enhancements for scalability and maintainability.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience:
  • 12+ years in software testing, with 5+ years in test automation architecture.
  • Proven experience in Python-based automation frameworks (Behave, PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of OOP concepts in Python, design patterns, and framework development.
  • Hands-on experience with BDD methodologies and tools like Behave/Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Exposure to OpenCV/OCR, image-based testing, and computer vision for automation.
• Preferred:
  • Experience in medical devices or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native testing, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices testing.
  • Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Level, AI/ML certifications (Azure AI-102, AWS ML).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive automation transformation.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
