Test Analyst

The purpose of this role is to ensure the developed software meets the client requirements and the business’ quality standards within the project release cycle and established processes. To develop skills and to gain experience in various QA areas.

Role Overview

• The Test Analyst will provide testing support to projects and activities as part of Dentsu Aegis Network

• Must have excellent testing skills and client facing, customer satisfactions abilities

• Should be both a self-starter and effective collaborator, having a good background in applications like Workfront.

• Show strong interest in systems and process improvement, product knowledge with excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills

Main Responsibilities   

• Good knowledge of the SDLC (Requirement’s analysis, Test design, Test execution & reporting, Test/Phase closure)

• Liaise with the Solution Team, Platform Leads to understand Functional Design, Platform Architecture, and design test scenarios

• Support the testing activities during SIT, UAT and Production

• Attend the project meetings and coordinate with PM on the Test Scheduling etc

• Design functional test scenarios, execute them, log, and track defects to closure

• Sending Daily & Weekly Test summary report to the project team

Professional Skills

• 2 to 4 years of Functional Testing experience in Workfront platform

• Good understanding of Agile Methodology, Waterfall Methodology

• Analyse the Workfront CRs and write Test scenarios/cases!

• Work on the overall test plan

• Develop and execute manual test scripts for Workfront platform.

• Provide inputs to the Test Effort Estimations

• Should have the Functional knowledge and experience on Timesheet, Project and Tasks modules in Workfront

• Should have good knowledge & experience of modules - Portfolio, Programs, Projects and Tasks etc.

• Develop and execute regression Test cases.

• Should be able to provide Demo to Business on the Test Execution

• Follow up with Business on the clarification and give the walkthrough of the test coverage.

• Detect and raise bugs in the AzureDevOps tool with appropriate level of priority

• Participating in Testing Meetings to track, triage & prioritize defects

• Raising testing blockers to the project manager and support them with unblocking them.

• Build strong relationships with internal users and stakeholders to manage them through UAT.

• Provide timely test reports to the Test/Project manager to give confidence on quality of solution.

• Manage accuracy in AzureDevOps of test cases and their execution.

• Good to have knowledge on Test Automation using Java Selenium, Test NG, Cucumber, and other similar tools

• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills
